With this major, you can go into almost any field. Our students typically go into government, business,graduate studies, consulting, technology, and many more.

The answer is yes. Students often take part in our Management and Organization minor to prepare for a career in business. Many of our students have gone on to business school or have completed internships at top business firms.

We offer several opportunities including the Spelman Economics Club, Spelman Enactus, Sloan Journal Club, Future Business Leaders (FBLS), and many more.

Yes. Students must have and maintain a cumulative and departmental GPS of a 3.5.

The Spelman-Sloan program offers a variety of opportunities to enhance your knowledge of economics both in the classroom and outside of it.
