Minor Requirements


The French minor consists of 5 courses (20 hours) above the 200-level. The following courses are required for a minor: 

French Class

 

Prerequisite courses:

  • SFLF 303: French Conversation (4 hours)

  • SFLF 306: Advanced Grammar & Composition I or II (4 hours)

  • SFLF 352: Developments in and across the Francophone World (4 hours)

 

And at least ONE of the following required courses:

  • SFLF 353: Representations in and across the Francophone World (4 hours) 3,4 
  • SFLF 354: Professions in and across the Francophone World (4 hours)

 

Optional Credits for the French minor5:

  • SFLF 300: Study Abroad (2 credits)
  • SFLF 301: Service Learning or Social Justice Project (2 credits)
