We invite you to join us for an unforgettable homecoming experience. We have an exciting line-up for the Arts and Entertainment Summit from career networking opportunities to industry discussions. Our annual engagement zone tailgate —will feature a catered barbecue meal, games, and fun for the whole family. Come reconnect, reminisce, and relive the joy of your Spelman days. We’ve missed you, and we can’t wait to celebrate our legacy and future together!

A security officer will be on-site at Friendship Baptist Church, 80 Walnut St. SW, Atlanta, GA 30314. Comfortable shuttles will transport guests from the Friendship Baptist Church parking lot to Spelman College — BDT Suites Gate (bus drop-off on Westview).

Academic Center, step into the exhibition: Nancy Elizabeth Prophet: I Will Not Bend an Inch and enjoy a lively atmosphere featuring a live DJ and complimentary tea. Then, head to the Mary Schmidt Campbell Center for Innovation & the Arts (CI&A) Bank of America Gallery to discover Repossessions in our brand-new gallery space, paired with tours and complimentary tea service.

Join us at the Alumnae Tailgate Experience, where lifelong memories and the spirit of sisterhood come alive in a joyous celebration of Homecoming 2025.

Offsite Parking will be available on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Cost: $50 per vehicle per day | Purchase parking through the Registration Link.

While there, take the opportunity to make your annual gift to support Spelman College and capture the unforgettable moments of Homecoming 2025 in our photo booth, mingle with your cherished Spelman Sisters, and reminisce to the soundtrack our DJ provides. This tailgate location is free to access, but registration is required for a tailgate meal. Meals are not guaranteed after 5:30 p.m.

Join us at the Sensory and Family Friendly Zone in front of the Mary Schmidt Campbell Center for Innovation & the Arts (CI&A) building, where the fun extends to every family member. Begin your adventure by visiting the Welcome Home Alumnae Check-In Tent, where you’ll be greeted with warmth and receive a special signature souvenir (while supplies last). Make your annual gift to contribute to Spelman College’s ongoing success and capture the joyful memories of Homecoming 2025 in our fantastic photo booth.

Engage in an array of exciting activities that cater to all ages, including a thrilling gaming truck with unlimited games, giant-sized lawn board games that promise laughter and friendly competition, engaging crafts to unleash your creativity, and the opportunity to witness the magic of balloon animals coming to life. And of course, don’t forget to indulge in delectable food, mingle with your beloved Spelman Sisters, and dance your heart out to celebrate your return home. Rev. Leah D. Jackson, Esq., C'2002Closing Worship Service
Before you travel back home, let’s worship together in our beloved historic Sisters Chapel to experience an inspiring message from Rev. Leah D. Jackson, Esq., C'2002, associate minister at Ray of Hope Christian Church in Decatur, Georgia. She also serves as a grant coordinator at McAfee School of Theology for the Reimagining Tomorrow Initiative and as an adjunct professor at Spelman College and Lexington Theological Seminary for the CAAM Program. Let’s thank God for our time of celebration and “fellowship” with the Wisdom Center.
