Tuition and Fees at Spelman

Basic Fee Information

  • Tuition: Full-time students registered for 12 to 20 credit hours will be charged the basic tuition per semester
  • Part-time students registered for less than 12 hours will be charged $1,258 per credit hour 
  • Full-time students registered for more than 20 hours will be charged $1,030 for each additional credit hour.

Mandatory Fees

Mandatory fees apply to students enrolled in 6 or more credit hours.
Other charges to be assessed at registration:

Course and Health Insurance Fees
Private music lesson charges are determined based on course registration and will be itemized on the student’s account when applicable. All students are assessed a Student Medical Insurance fee each semester: $756 for Fall coverage and $1,002 for Spring coverage.

*A Deferred Payment Plan Fee of $200 will be charged to the student account if the total balance is not paid by the published due date and the student has not enrolled in an approved payment plan.

Wire transfer instructions are available on the student’s eBill. For additional assistance, please contact the Cashier’s Office at 404-270-5159.

Credit Card Payments Via Web (Internet)

  • Go to TouchNet Payment System
  • Students may log in using their OneSpelman username and password
  • If you are an Authorized User, enter your username and password.
  • Click on the Make a Payment tab and follow prompts. Be sure to indicate the correct term.
