Your Spelman Experience Made Easy

Welcome to the Spelman College Student Account Center. Here you will find information about important deadlines, payment plan options, and access the Student Account Suite for making payments and managing your account.

Outlined below are the Tuition and Fee costs and the Payment Plan schedule for all students registering under the Pauline E. Drake Program who are carrying one to eleven credit hours for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters. The basic tuition cost for the 2026 - 2027 academic year is $969.00 per credit hour. All students enrolled in six or more credit hours are required to pay mandatory student fees totaling $1,783.00 per semester. Students enrolled in twelve or more credit hours will be charged Spelman’s regular tuition and fees rate, totaling $16,804.00. Students registered for 11 credit hours or less must follow the rates noted on the fee schedule below. The required payment must be paid by July 15, 2026, for the Fall 2026 semester and January 4, 2027, for the Spring 2027 semester.

SPECIAL NOTES: Additional fees may apply, including charges for science labs, private music lessons, and late payments. Students attending the College for the first time are also required to pay a one-time new student fee totaling $405. Graduating seniors will be assessed a $670 graduation fee upon submitting an application to graduate through the Registrar’s Office.

Refunds

Parent Refunds

Federal Parent PLUS loan e-Refund
Parent PLUS Loan borrowers who have been designated as Authorized Users by their student and have not elected for the student to receive the Federal Parent PLUS Loan refund maybe eligible to receive any credit created by a Federal Parent PLUS Loan overpayment via e-Refund.

How to Enroll
Login to the payment center utilizing your Authorized Users credentials.
• Go to the “Electronic Refunds” tab on the right side of the page
• Click on “Two-Step Verification”
• Enter verification information. Ensure that the “date of birth” and “last 4 digits of SSN” match the information used on the Federal Parent PLUS Loan application.
• Click on “Set-up new account”
• Enter checking account information and save with a profile name

Enroll in direct deposit so that refunds can be deposited into your account electronically.

 

Communications Notice

The Office of Student Accounts uses electronic methods of communication as the primary medium for official communication with students at Spelman College. Every student is given a Spelman email account to access these communications. Students are expected to read all electronic communications relating to The Office of Student Accounts and when necessary take action as a result of the information received. Certain communications may be time-critical and require immediate action(s). Students are expected to monitor their Spelman email account often to receive the most up to date information.
