A Message From Student Affairs

Welcome to the Division of Student Affairs where we are committed to the educational mission of Spelman College. Our partnership with faculty and staff across campus prepares students to become global citizens through meaningful out-of-class experiences and learning-centered environments.

We provide a dynamic and interactive campus community with a variety of diverse programs and services designed to enhance the personal growth and development of our students. We offer nearly 70 student organizations, and an active cultural community that has a variety of programs, events, activities, concerts, theater and dance productions presented by students, faculty, guest lecturers and entertainers. Students also develop leadership and organizational skills through involvement in student government, campus organizations, community service, and service on a variety of campus planning committees.

We hope you will take advantage of the numerous opportunities to get involved in our community and continue Spelman’s rich legacy of women in leadership.
