A Message From the Vice President of Student Affairs

Welcome to the Division of Student Affairs. The Division of Student Affairs is committed to the educational mission of Spelman College. We partner with faculty and staff across campus to prepare students to become global citizens through meaningful out-of-class experiences and learning-centered environments.

We provide a dynamic and interactive campus community with a variety of diverse programs and services designed to enhance the personal growth and development of our students. We offer nearly 70 student organizations, and an active cultural community that has a variety of programs, events, activities, concerts, theater and dance productions presented by students, faculty, guest lecturers and entertainers. Students also develop leadership and organizational skills through involvement in student government, campus organizations, community service, and through service on a variety of campus planning committees.
