All times on the Spelman College Homecoming schedule are Eastern time. You have to register for each event by clicking on the name of the event. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the event. If the name is not linked, the registration will be made available as soon as possible.

11 a.m. | Opening Worship Service
Spelman sisters worship together virtually with a soul-stirring message featuring The Rev. Elizabeth Pollard, C’2012, associate pastor, Ben Hill Methodist Church, Atlanta, GA.

3 p.m. | The Sister Soul Circle: Homecoming Edition
An honest and transparent conversation with Dr. Andrea Lewis, C’96, that will help you make sense of your plan B when your plan A does not work.

5 p.m. | Tech Bar Pre-game Happy Hour Session #1
Review the week’s schedule and receive a tutorial on the technology being used to present our virtual Homecoming activities.

Join Dr. Mary Schmidt Campbell for a State of the College Address and Homecoming 2020 welcome.

12 p.m. | Wisdom Wednesday 
Join us for a social hour of sharing our fondest memories as we take a walk down memory lane with our Diamond Daughters and Golden Girls (classes of 1971 and earlier).

7 p.m. | Wind Down Wednesday, Spelchella
Join us for a midweek wind down and enjoy an easy-listening musical fest with our very own Spelchella featuring Glee Club students and alumnae.

11:00 a.m. | Cancelled Census Bureau Webinar With Dr. Johnnetta B. Cole 
In light of the Tuesday, October 13, Supreme Court decision regarding the 2020 U.S. Census deadline being moved to October 15 instead of October 31, we will no longer show the encore presentation of this scheduled event. In lieu of showing the presentation, we have posted it in our Instagram Live TV. We encourage you, your extended family and community to make sure you are counted by October 15, 2020. Encore presentation of the 2020 Virtual Political Forum presented by the National Alumnae Association of Spelman College (NAASC) – Atlanta Chapter and introduced by the Honorable Cory Booker, U.S. Senator - New Jersey.

1:00 p.m. | Breast Cancer Awareness: In Our Own Words webinar 
Encore presentation of our October 4th webinar. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women & the second-most common cause of cancer-related deaths in Black women. This webinar, featuring Dr. Erin Booker Bowman, C’2000 provides timely and informative for all of our sisters.

3 p.m. | Visual Arts & Social Justice
A panel discussion with the Museum of Fine Art's Curator of Education, Makeba Dixon-Hill, C'2003, (moderator) and two panelists, Mary-Pat Hector, C'2019, and Calida Rawles, C'98.
