Ivy Gardner, JD, serves as director of Employee Relations and Compliance for the Division of Human Resources and Culture at Spelman College. As a member of the division’s leadership team, she provides leadership for employee relations, compliance, organizational development, and workplace practices that support the College’s mission and strategic priorities. She collaborates closely with the Vice President for Human Resources and Culture, divisional leaders, and campus stakeholders to provide guidance, strategic thought partnership, and solutions related to employee relations, compliance, workplace culture, and organizational effectiveness.
Through cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement, Ms. Gardner helps align people practices, policies, and compliance initiatives with the evolving needs of the College and its community. Her work focuses on fostering accountability, supporting informed decision-making, strengthening workplace relationships, and advancing a positive and inclusive organizational culture.
