Durrel Parker, Ph.D., serves as director of Talent Services for the Division of Human Resources and Culture at Spelman College. He leads the College’s talent acquisition, onboarding, and recruitment operations, supporting workforce planning efforts and strategies designed to attract exceptional talent committed to advancing Spelman’s mission and unifying values. Dr. Parker oversees recruitment processes, search activities, onboarding programs, and employment initiatives that support the College’s staffing needs.
Through collaboration with hiring managers, campus leaders, and external partners, Dr. Parker helps deliver effective and inclusive talent acquisition practices across the institution. His work focuses on strengthening recruitment outcomes, enhancing the candidate experience, and supporting the successful transition and integration of new employees into the College community.
