Camille Danielle Young – 2025 Top 10 Graduates Highlight

Prepared to Make an Impact in Law 

Camille Young Class of 2025 Spelman CollegeCamille Young, C'2025, is a political science major and Spanish minor on the pre-law track from Columbia, Maryland.  She is one of two Spelman students selected to be a 2023-2024 White House HBCU Scholar. She is also a member of the Ethel Waddell Githii Honors Program, and a member of numerous societies, including the Phi Beta Kappa Society, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and Pi Sigma Alpha National Society of Political Science Honor Society.

Young proudly serves as vice president of the Spelman College Student Ambassadors and a mentor for Gifted Girls of Grace. She is co-social chair of the Morehouse-Spelman Pre-Law Society, is a cohort of the Corporate Leadership Mentoring Program, and served as Sophomore Class Justice.

Additionally, Young is a member of the Morehouse College Moot Court Team, the first and only HBCU undergraduate team. Last semester, she became a regional quarter finalist and was awarded top 20 orators. Young studied abroad and has interned on Capitol Hill, and with United Airlines’ Government Affairs office and the Jones Day Law Firm in their Atlanta office. In the fall, she will attend Georgetown University Law Center to obtain her juris-doctorate degree.
