Spelman College Department of Theatre and Performance presents The Color Purple, the acclaimed musical based on the novel by Alice Walker. Directed by Jade Lambert-Smith, this powerful production features music and lyrics by Brenda Russell, Allee Willis, and Stephen Bray. Performances will take place March 31 - April 2 and April 9 - 11 at 7 p.m., with a matinee on April 12 at 2 p.m. at the Baldwin Burroughs Theatre in the LaTanya Richardson Jackson and Samuel L. Jackson Performing Arts Center on Spelman College’s campus in Atlanta. Don’t miss this moving story of resilience, love, and triumph.
