We’re thrilled to introduce the 2025-2026 cohort of participants in this year’s Big Sister/Little Sister Program, and we want YOU to be part of it! Whether you're an incoming student looking to find your place, or a returning student ready to lead and uplift others, this is your opportunity to join one of Spelman's most meaningful and fun traditions.
This program is open to all members of our Spelman community. We are currently recruiting:
Little Sisters – First-year students seeking mentorship, support, and sisterhood
Big Sisters – Upperclass students ready to guide, empower, and build bonds that last
The Big Sister/Little Sister Program is more than just mentorship. It’s about creating lifelong connections, celebrating sisterhood, and building a community where every Spelmanite feels seen, supported, and valued. Big Sisters help their Littles navigate life on campus, offering advice, encouragement, and a strong support system. The relationships formed through this program strengthen the Spelman spirit and help ensure that every new student feels at home.
