G-STEM Scholar Application Process
Admission into the G-STEM Program as a G-STEM Scholar is a competitive process. Students must demonstrate maturity and the ability to meet G-STEM Scholar Expectations.
- Meet with the G-STEM director or assistant director for Study Abroad to determine if you meet the G-STEM requirements.
- Review the available G-STEM Research Opportunities
- Submit the G-STEM Preliminary Application for Department Chair approval
- With the department chair's approval, submit the G-STEM Application with supporting documentation:
- G-STEM program application
- Statement of purpose
- Two letters of recommendation from a faculty member
- A copy of college transcript
- Copy of CV or resume, passport) by the program deadline (Feb. 1 for summer and fall travel; Oct. 1 for spring travel)
- Apply to and be accepted by your selected research program (i.e., Arcadia, CIEE, SIT)
- Agree to the G-STEM Scholar Expectations
