Residence Hall Opening Information for Returning Students

Welcome back! The Office of Housing and Residence Life is excited to welcome you to campus for the new academic year. Please review the information below regarding the opening and move-in procedures for returning students in the residence halls.

Move-In Date for Returning Students

An email with instructions for selecting a move-in appointment will be sent to your Spelman email account during the week of July 19, 2026. Please monitor your email regularly and register as soon as the appointment scheduling link becomes available. Returning student move-in appointments will be available August 15 - 18, 2026, during designated time slots.

How Move-In Information Will Be Shared

All official move-in communications, including appointment registration instructions, check-in locations, parking information, and other important details, will be sent directly to students' Spelman email accounts. Parents and guardians will not receive separate communications regarding move-in. Students are encouraged to share all relevant information with their families to ensure a smooth arrival process.
