Shari Bennett serves as Administrative Coordinator in the Title IX & Compliance Office, where she provides essential support to executive leadership and plays a key role in advancing the College’s commitment to equity, compliance, and student well-being.
A seasoned administrative professional from Atlanta, GA, Shari brings more than 15 years of experience supporting executive-level leadership and driving operational excellence. She has served in pivotal roles with both the Fulton County Board of Assessors Office and the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, where her work was instrumental in advancing high-level initiatives, streamlining processes, and ensuring leadership teams had the critical support needed to succeed.
Beyond her professional roles, Shari is deeply committed to community service, volunteering extensively with both the Fulton County Library System, the Fayette County Library System and City Of Atlanta. Her passion for organization, service, and leadership continues to shape her career and community involvement.
Hall is a clinical social worker and trauma therapist as well as a member of the newly formed Georgia Murder-Suicide Resource Network. She has over 8 years of work experience in Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Stalking. Hall helped to establish Cobb County’s Elder Abuse multi-disciplinary team, JEDI (Just for Elder and Disabled Individuals) and started the annual Elder Awareness Day yarn storming across Cobb County. She is passionate about advocacy and is often found helping those victimized locate resources and assistance.
When Hall is not advocating or healing, she can be found in nature or reading in the sunshine. Hall holds a bachelor's in social work from Georgia State University, a master’s in Social Work from Kennesaw State University, and is a newly admitted doctoral student at Clark Atlanta University.
