Prior to her role at Spelman College, Michele held positions of increasing responsibility in various industries, including higher education and corporate settings. At each stage of her career, Michele has demonstrated her ability to drive results and cultivate positive work cultures.
As the Career and Alumni Success Coordinator at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Michele led high-profile events such as the Out to Launch Career Fair and IMPACT Conference, consistently achieving high attendance rates. Her strategic leadership and collaborative approach contributed to program development and cross-departmental synergy, enhancing the overall effectiveness of SCAD’s career services initiatives.
Before her tenure at SCAD, Michele served as Manager at the Barry Callebaut Group’s Chocolate Academy, where she managed global influencer events and social media campaigns, driving increased brand engagement and student enrollment for culinary courses. Her project management expertise at the Field & Fork Network resulted in improved program efficiency and sustainable expansion of community-based initiatives.
Michele holds a Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies from the State University of New York at Buffalo, with a minor in Business Management, and is certified in UX Design. Beyond her professional endeavors, Michele is deeply committed to supporting her community, serving on advisory committees and volunteering her time to empower small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs.
