Kaye Foster is an adviser, philanthropist, and former senior vice president for Global Human Resources at Onyx Pharmaceuticals. She works with CEOs, leaders and teams to help ensure an organization's long-term success by defining the values behind its culture, and then incorporating them in systems and practices to reinforce individual and collective behaviors. Previously, she was chief human resources officer and an executive committee member at Johnson & Johnson.
Earlier in her career, she was a Human Resources business partner at Pfizer Inc., and led the integration of both the Warner-Lambert and Pharmacia mergers for multiple countries.
Foster earned her undergraduate degree at Baruch College of the City University of New York and received an MBA from Columbia University, Graduate School of Business. She joined the Spelman College Board of Trustees in 2014.
My passion for and commitment to the advancement of leadership for young girls and women drew me to the mission of Spelman. While I am not an alumna, I know that I and many other women of color benefited from the role models of leadership and power expressed by generations of Spelman women. I feel honored to play a part in shaping the future of this great institution.
