Janae Bryant, C'2016, is a program and production coordinator in the Center for Innovation & the Arts.

Bryant accepted the position of program and production coordinator in July 2025 and she is the first to join the CI&A's growing team. Bryant holds a bachelor of arts, independent studies: economics and music with a focus in music business from Spelman College. She joins the CI&A from Spelman’s Event Operations Department, where she served as the senior administrative assistant and event operations coordinator for three years. Prior to returning to Spelman, Bryant worked for On Location Events, LIVE NATION, and the House of Hits.
From the moment she joined the department, Bryant exhibited her exceptional skillset as a producer, collaborative thinker, dedicated organizer, and arts advocate. During her time as a student at Spelman, Bryant served as road manager for the Spelman College Glee Club. She also volunteers with Financial Literacy for Youth and sits on the Academic Event Professionals organization board.
Bryant will work closely with the department’s incoming technical director, the Division of the Arts coordinators, STS, FMS, and the Communications Department regarding upcoming events and website updates. Her responsibilities will also include managing logistics for upcoming activities and researching production rights for potential upcoming projects with production agencies.
On the first day she began working in the Center for Innovation and the Arts, she exhibited her excellent organizational skills, creativity, and resourcefulness. Bryant's commitment, ingenuity, and unwavering dedication to Spelman’s mission inspire us all!
