Clyde Lettsome, Ph.D.

Biography
Clyde Lettsome, Ph.D. has been a Faculty Member Since 2012 and a Lecturer of Physics.
Dr. Lettsome is a digital signal processing, digital communications, and computer design expert with over 16 years of technical, business, education, and research experience. He is a licensed professional engineer (PE) in the states of Florida and Georgia and is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE).
Dr. Lettsome received degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology (BS and MS) and the Georgia Institute of Technology (PhD). He also received a degree in engineering management from the Florida Institute of Technology (MS) and was a visiting student scholar at Purdue University where he performed research. Dr. Lettsome has served as a technical reviewer for the IEEE Signal Processing in Education workshop, a panelist for the National Council of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors (NCEES) Fundamentals of Engineering Exam standard setting study, and as a panelist for the NCEES Software Engineering Licensure Exam standard setting study.
Dr. Lettsome has a number of peer-reviewed published conference and journal papers. Dr. Lettsome has received a number of awards. He is a recipient of 3 National Science Foundation (NSF) education related fellowships. In 2004 he was recognized as an outstanding graduate student instructor by the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
