Dr. Moretti is an assistant professor of computer science at Spelman College. He was a Roman family teaching and research fellow in the computer science department at Barnard College. Moretti completed his Ph.D. in the computer science department at Columbia University. Most of his work has focused on developing new approaches in Bayesian inference, probabilistic models, and machine learning applications in scientific research.
Moretti is interested in machine learning, approximate inference, and more recently, algorithms for Riemannian geometries. If you're a student and interested in working with him on research you can contact him. You can find some of his papers on arXiv or Google Scholar.
