Arthur Liman Public Interest Summer Fellowship

Yale Law School

The Liman Summer Fellowship gives juniors and seniors (who can hold an internship the summer following their graduation) the opportunity to work at substantive summer internships in the field of public interest law/social justice. Students have worked with advocacy groups and lawyers in areas such as: children’s rights, immigrants’ rights, workers’ rights, prison conditions, low-income housing, health and environmental policy, gender equality and educational adequacy.

The Liman Summer Fellowship offers students an opportunity to work at public interest organizations in the United States. Individuals who are selected to receive Summer Fellowships are required to intern for 8 - 10 weeks during the summer, submit final reports about their summer experiences, and participate in the annual Liman Center Colloquium held every spring at Yale Law School.
