Olivia Robinson, C’2025, will graduate magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts in environmental studies. While at Spelman, she served as a Sustainable Spelman associate and curriculum director for Spelman's Environmental Task Force. In 2022, Robinson founded the Spelman Jaguars Lacrosse team, which helped contribute to the resurgence of sports at Spelman.
Robinson is passionate about sustainability, creating happier, healthier cities and prioritizing climate resilience. She has participated in research programs, including Spelman’s INSPIRE U2, the NASA University Leadership Initiative, and the MIT Summer Research Program. In addition, she was selected to present her research on public transportation at the Xavier University of Louisiana Health Disparities Conference.
A semester abroad in Amsterdam at Vrije Universiteit and a summer internship at Ascent Environmental, Inc. in Berkeley, California, solidified her decision to continue her graduate studies. In fall 2025, Robinson will matriculate to the University of California, Los Angeles, to pursue a master of urban and regional planning degree.
