HCOPPP Scholar: Kaia Hall

Serving Uninsured and Underrepresented Populations

HCOPPP Scholar Kaia HallKaia Hall, C'2027, is a sophomore health sciences major on the pre-medicine track from New London, Pennsylvania. Before matriculating at Spelman, she was a member of the 2023 Spelman College Pre-Health Summer Program cohort. Now, she is a devoted participant in the Health Careers Program, with whom she traveled to Barbados in March 2024. Kaia is also an HCOPPP scholar and SHAPE and Honda Campus All-Star Challenge member. She serves as a UNCF Ambassador.

Hall is in a two-year pipeline program with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Rural and Urban Scholars in Community Health Program. She completed a community health internship through this opportunity and will be conducting research for her final summer. She is also a Labor and Delivery support volunteer at Emory Decatur Hospital. She will participate in the American Red Cross HBCU Ambassador Program beginning in the Fall 2025 semester until the completion of her undergraduate degree in Spring 2027.

After graduating with honors from Spelman, Hall hopes to be an OB/GYN and public health professional serving uninsured and underrepresented populations.
