Chelsea Tamara Benton Earns Executive Leadership Council Scholarship
Chelsea Tamara Benton, C'2027, is a sophomore health science major on the pre-medical track with a minor in management and organization from Detroit, Michigan. Through the Executive Leadership Council Scholarship Program, Benton earned a Johnson & Johnson Scholarship.She holds five leadership positions and is a member of three professional development programs on campus. Benton performs community service with the Bonner Scholars program, where she volunteers at K-5 schools in the Atlanta area.
Benton aspires to pursue a career in healthcare, starting out as a physician (obstetrician-gynecologist) and then venturing into other health-related avenues such as healthcare policy concerning women's healthcare and biotechnology (developing medical devices that further the progression of women's health). Benton is interested in utilizing her passion for business and consulting through pursuing health consulting management.
