Fuel your day with flavor! Our Lunch & Continuous Dining Experience is more than a meal—it’s a culinary celebration. From sizzling favorites to fresh, vibrant bites, you’ll enjoy a spread that keeps the energy high and the conversations flowing. Whether you’re grabbing a quick plate or lingering for seconds, every moment is designed to delight your taste buds and keep you connected. Cost is $14.00 per person.

Mary Schmidt Campbell Center for Innovation & the Arts
Repossessions presents works by artist Chelle Barbour, Marcus Brown, Rodney Ewing, Kenyatta A.C. Hinkle (Olomidara Yaya), and Curtis Patterson. The artists transformed objects from the enslavement and Jim Crow eras in the United States to offer new insights. Each artist was offered objects by white families working toward repair, with documents from the 1860s to the early 1900s. Internationally known Atlanta artist Shanequa Gay will create a new work of art on the occasion of the presentation at Spelman Museum, which will be unveiled in Spring 2026.

3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. | Intramural Volleyball Games
Wellness Center
Intramural Sports are simply scheduled competitive and recreational sports, where students compete against each other. Participants may choose from individual or team sports. Our program provides most, if not all the equipment and officials needed. The program offers league sports that can last between three and six weeks long, in addition to tournaments that can last between one and three days.
The volleyball game will consist of two teams competing in a 6v6 match that is played through the best of three sets.

Culminate your weekend by joining us for a nondenominational service with Dr. Timothy W. Sloan.
Dr. Timothy W. Sloan is Senior Pastor of The Luke Church in Humble, Texas, where he leads a thriving congregation of over 8,000 members. A graduate of Morehouse College and Princeton Theological Seminary, he holds a Doctor of Ministry in Transformative Leadership. Under his leadership, The Luke has expanded its reach through community partnerships and global missions in South Africa and Haiti.
A respected voice on leadership and social change, Dr. Sloan has appeared on national platforms, including a COVID-19 interview with Dr. Anthony Fauci. He is the author of Stand: Learning to Lead through Conflict and co-author of Closer to You: A Devotional for Dads and Daughters. His podcast, The Keep Standing Podcast, engages leaders on resilience and faith.
Dr. Sloan is a passionate advocate for HBCUs, a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and has received numerous honors, including induction into the Martin Luther King Jr. Board of Preachers at Morehouse College. He is married to Dr. Sonya Sloan, and they have three children.
