Spelman Theatre and Performance Presents Seven Methods of Killing Kylie Jenner

Written by award-winning playwright Jasmine Lee-Jones, Seven Methods of Killing Kylie Jenner blends satire, social critique, and sharp humor to examine the intersections of Blackness, celebrity, and power in the digital age. The production is part of the department’s 2025–26 season, Black Joy as Resistance.

Performances run Thursday, Feb. 12, Saturday, Feb. 14, at 7 p.m., with a Sunday matinee on Feb. 15, at 2 p.m. All performances take place at The Prince Theatre, located in the Mary Schmidt Campbell Center for Innovation & the Arts. Tickets cost $5.

Tickets are available via the QR code featured on promotional materials. This production is presented by special arrangement with and all authorized performance materials supplied by William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, LLC.

Spelman Theatre and Performance Presents "Single Black Female" and "Seven Spools of Thread"

The Department of Theatre and Performance program proudly announces its February/March 2026 productions as part of its 2025–26 season, Joy as Resistance. The program will present “Single Black Female” by Lisa B. Thompson and “Seven Spools of Thread,” adapted for the stage by Angela Shackleford McDaris.

"Single Black Female" is written by Lisa B. Thompson and directed by Joan McCarty. Presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc.

"Seven Spools of Thread" was adapted for the stage by Angela Shackleford McDaris and directed by Haki Pratt.
