Join the Women’s Research and Resource Center at Spelman College for the Toni Cade Bambara Scholar-Activism Conference, a two-day gathering centered on radical activism, creative expression, and collective liberation.
This conference brings together students, youth, scholar-activists, cultural workers, creatives, and community organizers to engage in meaningful dialogue and action inspired by Toni Cade Bambara’s legacy. Rooted in a commitment to Black feminist thought and transnational social justice, the event creates space for collaboration, learning, and community building. Attendees can expect a dynamic lineup of roundtables, presentations, films, panels, workshops, performances, and skill-sharing sessions designed to inform, inspire, and activate.
