Southeastern Teaching of Psychology Conference

Date: Friday, Feb. 20 - Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026
Location: DoubleTree Atlanta Windy Hill Ballpark 2055 S Park Pl NW, Atlanta, GA 30339

Since 1989, SETOP has served as one of the leading regional gatherings of psychology educators, with attendees from a wide range of two-year, four-year, and graduate institutions of higher education, as well as a few high schools. Convened in Atlanta each February, annual attendance is approximately 80 attendees.

SETOP is a 2-day conference, starting on Friday morning and continuing through a luncheon session on Saturday afternoon.

Presentations include nationally-known keynote speakers, participant concurrent sessions, poster presentations, and teaching activity demonstrations. Lunches, snacks, coffee, and a social hour during the poster presentations are included with registration. SETOP provides a hub for the teaching-of-psychology community in the Southeast and has launched several collaborative and individual efforts in teaching and learning over the years.
