Spelman College Jazz Ensemble Fall Concert

The Spelman College Jazz Ensemble returns with its highly anticipated fall concert, offering an evening of swinging rhythms, soulful melodies, and bold improvisations. The ensemble, composed of talented student musicians, performs under the guidance of experienced faculty directors who bring deep knowledge of jazz history and performance practice.

The event will take place on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 7 p.m. in the  Baldwin Burroughs Theatre, Richardson-Jackson Performing Arts Center. Their repertoire will span from jazz standards to innovative new arrangements, reflecting both tradition and experimentation. Known for their energy and precision, the Jazz Ensemble captures the essence of America’s original art form while creating a space for student expression and creativity.
