Friday Lunch Hour Concert Series: Contemporary Music

This special edition of the Friday Lunch Hour Concert Series features contemporary music performed by students of the Department of Music. The program will explore a wide range of modern compositions, from avant-garde works to innovative reinterpretations of classical forms. By engaging with the music of living composers, students expand their understanding of style and technique while giving audiences an opportunity to hear the evolving sounds of today’s concert music.

This event will take place on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 12 p.m. in the Mary Schmidt Campbell Center of Innovation and the Arts Building. This event provides a platform for emerging artists to experiment, take risks, and share their voices through music that speaks directly to the present moment.
