Spelman Community,
In alignment with our AUCC partner organizations, Spelman College will continue remote learning and work on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. With near freezing temperatures expected, we urge those who don’t have to be outside to stay indoors. If you must venture out, please proceed with caution and dress warmly.
For Spelman Students
- Brunch service will be available tomorrow in the Alma Upshaw Cafe from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dinner will be served from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- If you are a residential student, please report any pipe issues, water leaks and housekeeping concerns to Facilities Management & Services (FMS) at 404-270-5440. Your Resident Advisor or Resident Director will also be available to respond to your questions.
- If you have a campus emergency, please contact Spelman College Public Safety at 404-565-6401.
- If you are a commuter or off-campus student, please follow the safety protocols from your residence location or apartment complex and report any concerns directly to the appropriate source.
For Spelman Faculty
- Spelman faculty should transition scheduled classes to a remote learning model, per the guidance received from the Provost's Office earlier today.
For Spelman Staff
- While operations will continue virtually, essential staff is expected to report to campus. For additional information and guidance, please contact your direct supervisor as needed.
