Cynthia Jackson, nicknamed CJ on her first day at Spelman College, graduated in 1981 with a B.A. in Biology. Cynthia Jackson currently serves as Practice Director with Salesforce. During the pandemic, she has worked with Higher Ed Institutions to stand-up COVID Testing Sites, Contact Tracing, and Nurse Triage solutions.
Cynthia Jackson has a knack for finding unique positions. Five of the eight corporate positions she’s held were created specifically for her. All five led to promotions that resulted in executive positions, including one as President of B2B workforce. In her former position as Director of Solutions Delivery for Healthcare IT leaders (HIT), she was responsible for the IT Team that develops and manages the solutions for all of HIT’s Healthy Returns customers. Before working for HIT, Cynthia was the Founder/CEO of Workforce Loyalty, a next-generation software product and Services Company providing solutions for staffing companies. Cynthia was responsible for all aspects of the business, from design to implementation.
When she is not working, Cynthia is very involved with Spelman College. She sits on the Board of Spelman, is a member of the Decatur Chapter NAASC, and mentors Spelman students while on campus and continues after they graduate. Cynthia knows her most important responsibility in life is her role as President of the Class of 1981.
I chose to serve on the Board of Spelman College because I love my alma mater with all my heart. Spelman gave me an outstanding education, lifelong friendships, opportunities to build leadership skills and bolstered my confidence. By serving in this capacity, I hope I am able to give back to an institution that gave me so much. I pray my humble efforts help to ensure Spelman continues to flourish and educate thousands of women of African descent for many years to come.
