Kisomo: The Lesson
Spelman College Department of Dance Performance and Choreography Presents Kisomo: The Lesson, written and directed by Omelika Kuumba. The event will take place on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. in Sisters Chapel.
A moment in the lives of siblings when they learn more reasons to have pride in being who they are... African people. It features dances, poetry, rhythms and songs of Africa and the African Diaspora. Performed by: Akumba Ashanti, African Dance Forms students, West African Rhythms and Dances students, Ashietu – Sisters Chapel African Dance and Drum Ministry and guest artists.
