The Spelman College Glee Club is celebrating its centennial this year, marking a remarkable milestone in the institution’s rich musical history.You are welcome to attend the Spelman College Glee Club Centennial Spring Tour from March 8 - 14, 2025. For the past 100 years, this esteemed ensemble has captivated audiences with its soulful harmonies, showcasing the exceptional talent and dedication of Spelman’s students. As the oldest collegiate choir of African American women in the United States, the Glee Club has not only preserved the legacy of Black choral music but has also inspired generations of young women to find their voices and share their artistry with the world.
