Book Talk with Author Danielle Phillips-Cunningham

Come and join us for a Book Talk on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 5 p.m in Women’s Research and Resource Center, Camille Olivia Hanks Cosby, Ed.D., Academic Center, room 206.

"Nannie Helen Burroughs" is written by Spelman alumna Danielle Phillips-Cunningham, Ph.D., C’2004. Phillips-Cunningham is an associate professor in the Department of Labor Studies and Employment Relations at Rutgers University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Comparative Women’s Studies from Spelman College and a doctorate in Women’s and Gender Studies from Rutgers University. She sits on the Executive Board of the Labor and Working Class History Association and her areas of expertise are women’s labor and migration histories, feminist/womanist theories and research methods, and African American history.
