Psychology of Black Womanhood Symposium

The Spelman College community is invited to attend the Psychology of Black Womanhood Symposium on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Register today! The event will take place in Spelman College Manley Student Center Atrium

This event will celebrate the groundbreaking contributions of the related textbook and provide meaningful research, discussions and advocacy on the experiences of Black women in psychology, while highlighting teaching strategies to promote equity and inclusion in the field.

Three of Spelman's very own — Dr. Natalie Watson Singleton (Psychology), Dr. Leyte Winfield (Chemistry) and Dr. Jaray Mazique (Title IX Office) — are featured speakers.
