School Acceptances: University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Vanderbilt University Medical School, Emory University Medical School
Future Aspirations: Shelley Cobb, C'2017, plans to complete her neuroscience master's degree at Morehouse School of Medicine in May 2018. It is in this program that she developed a strong interest in neuroscience and its translation to human health. This has influenced her desire to specialize in anesthesiology with a focus in neuroanesthesia. In this field, she wants to dedicate her service to providing greater patient safety and improvements in perioperative outcomes for underserved communities. However, she plans to explore other specialties during her medical school training and hopes to improve health outcomes for minorities in whichever specialty she pursues.
Hobbies: Cobb enjoys travelling, trying new foods, sewing, reading, spending quality time with friends and family.
