Faculty-Staff with Students

Faculty and Staff Resources

Faculty and staff play a key role in identifying and responding to distressed students. While some students can handle the high levels of stress college may bring, others become overwhelmed. As a faculty or staff member, you often get the first glimpse of students in trouble and may be the first person to help. Your relationship with students puts you in a position to help connect them with resources. This page provides supportive resources you may utilize to assist students with navigating and addressing their concerns.

In emergencies such as weapon possession, violence (including suicide threat or attempt), or property damage, act immediately by calling Public Safety at 404-525-6401 if you are on campus, or 911 if you are off campus.
