Women in STEM Speaker Series

A Seminar Series Celebrating Trailblazing Women

From chemist, Alice Bell to physicist and mathematician, Katherine Johnson, Black women have been instrumental in many of our science and medical discoveries. Spelman College's Center of Excellence for Minority Women in STEM is celebrating trailblazing women currently making phenomenal strides in STEM through its Women in STEM Speaker Series.

This academic year we have chosen to focus on the “STEM Excellence at Spelman” highlighting the trailblazers at Spelman that have paved a course for our students.
