Stacia Robinson, C'83, Elected to Lead Alabama Office of Minority Affairs

Stacia Robinson United States Air Force Veteran Stacia Robinson, C’83, has been appointed to lead Alabama’s Office of Minority Affairs. In this role, Robinson will bring a wealth of knowledge in employee benefits design, advertising and communications while supporting the state’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and minority and women-owned businesses.

"I am looking forward to serving the great state of Alabama in this role on behalf of women and minorities," Robinson expressed in a press release published by The Office of Alabama Governor, Kay Ivey. "I hope to bring my own experiences and curiosity of others to the role as this Administration strives to make ‘Alabama the Beautiful’ also Alabama the better for its citizens, especially for its women and all minorities."

The Denver, Colorado, native serves on the Industrial Development Board of Montgomery, the Leadership Council of the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB), the Alabama Small Business Commission and the Montgomery Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

In addition, she leads as the Citizen’s Advisory Commissioner for Montgomery County’s Pre-Trial Diversion Program and has shattered glass ceilings, becoming the first African American woman to serve on the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors.
