Class Gifts – Gifts of Love

Reunion is a time-honored tradition when alumnae return to Spelman every five years to celebrate, show love, and support their beloved Spelman College. Your gifts to Spelman during Reunion are essential for preserving the College’s rich history and traditions.

Spelman Philanthropy Awards 2023

The Reunion Philanthropy Awards recognizes reunion classes that surpass expectations while making a significant impact on Spelman College and its future sustainability. This year, we celebrated classes in four categories:

Reunion 5-Year Class Gift Total

The Office of Annual Giving is very happy to announce a Reunion 5-Year Class Gift Total of $5,414,452.90 and a 5-Year Average Class Participation Rate of 28.44%.

We would like to extend heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all Reunion alumnae who have made a gift to the College during the 2023 fiscal year so far. Because of the collective generosity of our alumnae, we reached a grand total of $1,712,033.60 and 35.45% participation.

Remember, participation is about the number of alumnae who contribute, not the amount.

If you have any questions about Reunion Giving, please email the Office of Annual Giving at spelmanstrong@spelman.edu or call us at 1-866-512-1690.
