Important Dates for Financial Aid

October 1 Yearly, Oct. 1 is the first date to submit the FAFSA for federal processing,
December 1
Yearly Priority Deadline: The FAFSA should be submitted and processed by the Federal Processor.  Student's FAFSA file (SAR) is due in the Office of Financial Aid before Dec. 1 for priority awarding.
Students can start applying for Spelman's Institutional Scholarships. Returning students only.
July 30
Plus Loan and Student Loan applications must be completed and submitted to verify funds are disbursed in time for Fall enrollment..
July 30
Deadline for all documents to be submitted to the Office of Financial Aid to verify funds are disbursed in time for Fall enrollment.
July 30 First payment is due to Office of Student Accounts for student's Fall enrollment.
