Student tutors in the Foreign Language Resource Center are available to assist students during lab hours.

Spanish Tutors

Kaelin Keller

Kaelin Keller, double majoring in art and Spanish, is a member of the Ethel Waddell Githii Honors Program here at Spelman. This year will be her second year as a Spanish tutor in the World Language Center, with strong writing skills. This past summer, Kaelin traveled with the Spelman Spanish Department to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Kristen Walker
Kristen Walker is a graduating senior double majoring in political science and Spanish and is a member of the Ethel Waddell Githii Honors Program. Kristen taught English during her academic semester in Granada, Spain and this will be her third year serving as both a writing and Spanish tutor here on Spelman’s campus.

Kristen was recently accepted into Harvard Law School where she plans to pursue a legal and political career defending and amplifying the rights for individuals who have been disserved by the current systems. She believes that Spanish is a very important language and culture to know and understand in order to further work towards the strengthening and empowerment for communities all across the world.
Nylah Fuller
Nylah Fuller is a graduating senior Spanish major. Nylah has served as a Spanish tutor in the World Languages Resource Center since her first year at Spelman College. Through tutoring, she has discovered her love for teaching, and has enrolled in the K-12 Educators Certification Program here at Spelman College through which she will be earning two certifications to teach upon graduating. She spent last semester working, as a teacher's assistant at the local university in Santiago, Dominican Republic teaching English as a Second Language.
