Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) Health Pre-Professional Honor Society
Epsilon Delta (AED) was founded in 1926 at the University of Alabama. In 1997, the Atlanta University (AUC) at Morehouse College started its charter. Students inducted into this honor society demonstrated academic excellence in the sciences and their overall undergraduate tenure. The Georgia Delta Chapter is only the second chapter of AED established at a Historically Black College and University. AED is a national pre-medical honor society dedicated to the encouragement and recognition of excellence in pre-professional health scholarship, including medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, and others.
The Society welcomes all students engaged in the pursuit of a professional healthcare career. AED offers opportunities for intellectual and professional developments, provide a forum for students with common interests, and extend a program of service to benefit the college/ university community.
