Apply to G-STEM

Admission into the G-STEM Program as a G-STEM Scholar is a competitive process. Students must demonstrate maturity and the ability to meet G-STEM Scholar Expectations.

G-STEM Scholar Application Process

  1. Meet with the G-STEM director or assistant director for Study Abroad to determine if you meet the G-STEM requirements
  2. Review the available G-STEM Research Opportunities
  3. Submit the G-STEM Preliminary Application for Department Chair approval
  4. With department chair approval, submit the G-STEM Application with supporting documentation: G-STEM program application, statement of purpose, two letters of recommendation from a science faculty, copy of college transcript, copy of CV or resume, passport) by the program deadline (Feb 1 for Summer and Fall travel; October 1 for Spring travel)
  5. Apply to and be accepted by your selected research program (i.e. Arcadia, CIEE, SIT)
  6. Agree to the G-STEM Scholar Expectations

Submit Your Application Materials On Time

Incomplete and late applications will not be considered. The G-STEM Internal Advisory Committee makes the final determination on student admission into the G-STEM Program as a G-STEM Scholar, and their decision is communicated to the applicant via e-mail.
