Apply to G-STEM
Admission into the G-STEM Program as a G-STEM Scholar is a competitive process. Students must demonstrate maturity and the ability to meet G-STEM Scholar Expectations.
G-STEM Scholar Application Process
- Meet with the G-STEM director or assistant director for Study Abroad to determine if you meet the G-STEM requirements
- Review the available G-STEM Research Opportunities for Summer 2020 (XLS)
- Submit the G-STEM Preliminary Application for Department Chair approval
- With department chair approval, submit the G-STEM Application with supporting documentation: G-STEM program application, statement of purpose, two letters of recommendation from a science faculty, copy of college transcript, copy of CV or resume, passport) by the program deadline for Summer 2020: February 3, 2019)
- Apply to and be accepted by your selected research program (i.e. Arcadia, CIEE, Scientific Caribbean Foundation, SIT)
- Agree to the G-STEM Scholar Expectations
Submit Your Application Materials On Time
Incomplete and late applications will not be considered. The G-STEM Internal Advisory Committee makes the final determination on student admission into the G-STEM Program as a G-STEM Scholar, and their decision is communicated to the applicant via e-mail.
