Dominique Mosley is a senior biochemistry major at Spelman College from Philadelphia, PA, with intentions to pursue a career as a physician-researcher. She is particularly interested in understanding the full spectrum of genetic and acquired susceptibility for cancer.
During her time at Spelman, Mosley has been named a Presidential Scholar, Chemistry and Biochemistry Research Scholar, Living and Learning in an Interdisciplinary Community of STEM Scholars (LINCS) Scholar, Health Careers Opportunities Preparation Pipeline Program (HCOPPP) Scholar, and inaugural participant in the Spelman-Vanderbilt University School of Medicine Pipeline Program. She also serves as the Executive Editor of Spelman’s Continuum Research Journal, the Director of Community Building for GlobeMed, a mentor for Spelman Protégé (a freshman leadership development program), and Scholarship Chair of the Eta Kappa Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Mosley aspires to develop and use a strong scientific and clinical foundation to affect health policy at the national level.
