  • Annia Rochester - Duke University

    Annia Rochester at Duke
Attending Duke brought many academic challenges, but I was proud to hold my own in this new environment. Having the opportunity to take classes such as Immigrants in Exile, and French Current Affairs, enabled me to interact with students of different backgrounds.
  • Milan Moshay - Pitzer College

    Pitzer College Study Group
My Domestic Exchange experience with Pitzer College in Quito, Ecuador has been quite adventurous. While in the country of Ecuador, I have been able to gain the experience of studying abroad at the University of San Francisco de Quito (USFQ).
  • Tiarra Miller - Loyola Marymount University

    Tiarra Miller Venice Beach
It has been a little over 3 months since I have been a domestic exchange student at Loyola Marymount University. I am feeling confident about my academic standing. There is always room for improvement; nevertheless, I have been consistent in my studying and homework completion.
  • Autumn James - American University

    Autumn James at the Capitol
Since my last blog, our class has spoken to more attorneys, individuals in the fields of law and corrections, and even visited the United States Supreme Court. One of our major class discussions has been centered around the death penalty.
  • Maxine Ford - New York University

    Maxine Ford NYU
Midterms…! Excuse me? Where in the world did the time go! I just finished learning all of my classmates’ names, and you speak of midterms! For shame! That is just how quickly time flies around here. You haven’t seen how fast time can fly until you’ve been in New York City.
  • Zayd Zori - The New School

Zayd Zori - The New School
I am extremely thankful that I had the chance to return to New York for the spring semester! When I left the Big Apple and returned to Atlanta for Christmas, I felt as if I were leaving my home - rightfully so.
  • Quinn Forrester-Wamsley - Mills College

    Quinn Forrester-Wamsley Mills College
Everything is continuing to go well here in Oakland! It's currently spring break, and I'm excited for classes to resume next week.
  • Dominique Guilford - Loyola Marymount University

    Dominique Guilford Loyola
It is hard to believe that I have been at LMU for almost an entire school year now. The time has gone by way too fast, and I am honestly not ready to go. I have grown in so many ways being at a University that is very diverse and mission-focused towards the cultivation of the whole person.
  • Quinn Forrester-Wamsley - Mills College

    Quinn Forrester-Wamsley Mills College
I am currently finishing my undergraduate studies at Mills College in Oakland, CA, just a 15 minute drive from my home. I absolutely love my time here so far, and that can be attributed to all the time I have spent in the library so far, the trails and green spaces on campus, and all the programs and services available for students and the community.
  • Tiarra Miller - Loyola Marymount University

    Loyola Marymount University
Driving onto Loyola Marymount University’s (LMU) campus, my nerves began to build up. It is natural to feel anxiety when entering a new place. My advisor, Ms. Visapattana, has been extremely helpful working to ensure that I have the best time at LMU.
