Amaia Calhoun, C'2023, is a graduating senior and economics major with a double minor in Spanish and Management and Organization. During her matriculation at Spelman, she served as the secretary of business and finance for the 81st administration of Spelman’s Student Government Association. 

Calhoun, one of Spelman College's class of 2023 valedictorians, is also an Ethel Waddell Githii Honors Program Scholar, a Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) Career Prep Fellow, and a member of the Eta Kappa Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. Her area of research is minority entrepreneurship and venture capital.

What are her plans after she graduates?

Following graduation, Calhoun will join the Princeton University Investment Company (PRINCO) as an investment analyst.
