Alexa Mason, C'2023, is a graduating senior and economics major. During her matriculation at Spelman, she became a Sloan Scholar, served as the co-president of the Spelman Economics Club, and worked as a research assistant under economics professor Angelino Viceisza, Ph.D.

A member Omicron Delta Epsilon International Economics Honor Society and the Ethel Waddell Githii Honors Program, Mason received a summer internship with Paramount as a multiplatform analytics intern and worked as a full-time research analyst for the Nickelodeon Multiplatform Analytics team.

What are her plans after she graduates?

Following graduation, Mason will work as a business associate at in Visa Incorporated's Atlanta office and pursue a masters degree in data science.
