Why I Serve on the Spelman College Board of Trustees

I seek to advance the mission of the College and to support the health, safety and wellness – academic and physical – of each Spelman student. My decision to attend Spelman remains the best decision that I have ever made. The enduring friendships, education, and commitment to serve I obtained at Spelman gave me the tools to excel in every facet of life and the motivation to give back to a community that has given me so much. I can think of no greater honor than serving Spelman College, her students, faculty, staff, and alumnae as a member of the Board. It is my pleasure to assist in providing both an alumna perspective and also input on public health, health policy, and leadership issues as they relate to Board and College goals.
